茨城県水戸市にある千波湖を散歩してきました。

散歩してきたと言っても、10月18日の話で、もう2週間以上経ってしまいました・・・。紅葉も今頃はかなり進んでいるはずです。ただ、いい写真が撮れたので眠らせておくのはもったいないと思い、投稿することにしました。
This was way back on October 18, so it's already been two weeks since then. Autumn colors must have gotten more vibrant now... That being said, I took a lot of good pictures and I didn't want to let them go unseen, so I decided to post them late rather than never.

白鷺。人に慣れているせいか、比較的近くから撮れました。足の先から滴る水滴が物語る、この躍動感を撮れたのが嬉しい！
A flying egret. It seemed that the bird was used to being around people, which enabled me to take pictures from close up. Look at the water dropping from the toes! I'm so happy that I was able to get this moment in a frame.

二羽の白鳥がつくるハートマーク。水面スレスレで撮っていたので撮影中はこのハートマークに気付かず。家に帰って確認した時に気付いたラッキーショットです。

千波湖の周囲は約3km（情報元：千波湖公式ホームページ）。今回、写真を撮りながら歩いて一周するのに掛かった時間は40分程度でした。楽しかったです。また紅葉が深まった頃に行きたいと思います。
According to the official Senba-lake website, the shoreline length is 3 km. It took about 40 minutes to go around the lake while I was taking pictures. It was really fun. I would like to go take a walk there again later in the autumn season.

A pair of swans making a heart shape. I wasn't able to look at the screen when I took this picture because I was holding my camera just above the water. So I was happy to find out that I'd gotten this lucky shot when I came home.
