軽井沢での従弟の結婚式に出席するため11月11日と12日に泊りがけで長野県に行ってきました！
I traveled to Karuizawa in Nagano (with my father) on the 11th to attend my cousin's wedding and came back the next day!

地元民によると軽井沢の紅葉はもう終わりかけだったそうですが、それでも茨城とは別世界。結婚式だけでなく、今回は紅葉も楽しむことが出来ました。
According to locals, autumn colors were no longer at their peak, yet they were stunningly beautiful from an Ibarakian perspective. I was able to enjoy the wedding as well as the autumn foliage. 

滞在時間は短かったですが天気にも恵まれ、いい写真がたくさん撮れました。
Although we stayed there for only a short period of time, I took many beautiful pictures in the glorious weather.

私のレンズは若干暗い(f3.5-6.3)ので、結婚式という環境では良い画が撮れないと思っていましたが、意外と大丈夫でした。ISOも低いままで撮れました。
I thought the aperture of my lens (f3.5-6.3) might be too narrow for a wedding (low-light setting), but it turned out to be all right. I was able to take clear shots at low ISO numbers.

上田城 | Ueda Castle

帰りは少し寄り道して、上田城の紅葉を楽しみました。
On the way home, we stopped at Ueda Castle and enjoyed colorful autumn leaves.

小諸城(懐古園) | Komoro Castle (aka Kaikoen)

小諸城に寄るころにはもうかなり疲れて来たので、大手門だけ見て帰りました。大手門は城の本丸跡からは線路で分れていて、地下通路を通って行きます。この門の周りは公園になっています。
By the time we arrived at Komoro Castle, we got tired, so we just took a few pictures of Ohtemon-gate. We walked through the path under railways to get there. There is a park around this gate.

おまけ | One More Thing

行きの高速道路で虹が出ました。人生で見た中で最も太く鮮やかな虹で、従弟の結婚を祝福しているようでした。幸せになれよ～。
On our way to the wedding, we saw this huge, vibrant rainbow right ahead of us. I have never in my life seen such a large or vibrant rainbow. It was almost as if it came out in celebration for my cousin's wedding. I wish him every happiness.

まとめ | Conclusion

信州の紅葉は反則です！
Autumn colors in Nagano are extreme! 

茨城では綺麗な葉っぱを歩いて探し、構図、光の入り方、ホワイトバランスなど様々なことを考慮に入れて撮影して、ようやくきれいな画が完成します。しかし、今回は何も考えなくてもきれいで鮮やかな写真が撮れました。
In Ibaraki, you have to walk around and find picturesque leaves first and then think about composure, lighting and white balance before actually taking pictures of them. In Nagano, however, all I needed to do was press the shutter button, and voila! 

信州では毎年こんなきれいな紅葉が見られるんですね。是非、また撮りに行きたいです。
I never knew that you could see such beautiful colors in Nagano every year. I would definitely like to go there again.

あと従弟の結婚する様子を見てますます結婚願望が強くなりました。また相手を探すところから始めないといけません。ぼちぼちがんばりま～す。
My cousin's wedding made me want to get married even more. I have to start with finding a girlfriend again, though. I'll try as hard as I can.
